DESCRIPTION:In a world that often moves too fast\, Glass’s music offers a meditative space for reflection and transcendence. \nTICKET € 26\,50incl. service fee\nBESTEL\nKLEINE VRIEND 11\,50incl. service fee\n?\nThis ADE\, we are teaming up with harpist Lavinia Meijer and multidisciplinary artist Nikki Hock. Get lost in the hypnotic vibes of Philip Glass’s music and let the immersive performance take you on a unique journey. \nPhilip Glass is one of the founding fathers of minimal music. He transformed the world of classical music and\, eventually\, popular music. His use of repetitive sounds over long periods brings you into a meditative dreamlike state. Lavinia Meijer had the honor of meeting him and received his permission to transcribe his music for harp. She mesmerizes audiences with these intense and ground-breaking renditions of his repertoire. Performed in venues worldwide (Carnegie Hall NYC\, Berlin Philharmonie\,The Royal Concert Hall)\, being one of the most important\, pioneering and exciting musicians of our times. Nikki Hock will bring the performance to the next level as he sculpts spaces and environments to create experiential landscapes. He engages with the present moment to create abstractions of memories and lived experiences. His work moves between reality and the metaphysical —in search of other worlds and new dimensions. \n  \nthere will be two performances\, so no excuse to miss it!\ndoors open: 19:30 & 21:30\nstart concert: 20:00 (sold out) & 22:00\nlocation: Zuiderkerk\naddress: Zuiderkerkhof 72\, Amsterdam\nthe concert is wheelchair accessible \n  \nKleine Vrienden are always favored and receiving a €10 discount.\nNot a Kleine Vriend yet?
